Tell us whether you need remote locking, keyless entry, push-button starting or any other function you use on the current key. We will explain what the proposed spare includes and what work is required.
A phone-based digital key, an emergency blade and a complete physical fob are different things. If you want another physical key, make that clear so the quote addresses the right need.
A clear quote for your particular car
Ask which key will be supplied and the total price including any cutting and electronic work. If you are comparing another quote, compare those details as well as the amount; do not assume every quote includes the same key or functions.
Call before visiting to discuss availability, expected timing and whether your vehicle must attend. Let us know upfront if all keys have been lost or the remaining key no longer starts the car.
How much does a spare key cost?
Car key duplication starts at $140 including GST for eligible keys. Proximity keys start at $350 including GST. We’ll quote your car before you go ahead, including the key, cutting and any programming needed.
Mercedes-Benz vehicles from 2014 onwards are excluded.

Depending on your vehicle, making a spare can involve cutting the blade, cloning a compatible transponder or programming the new key to the car.
Some jobs use specialist software to communicate with the vehicle’s ECU or immobiliser. We check the system fitted and explain the work your key needs before you go ahead.

Yes. These are among the luxury makes we work with. Tell us the model, year and key details so we can identify the appropriate option for your vehicle.
Can I ask about a luxury brand that does not have its own page?
Yes. Enquiries for Lexus, Porsche, Jaguar, Volvo, MINI and other luxury makes are welcome. A brand name alone does not establish compatibility, so include your vehicle and key details.
Do you duplicate Mercedes-Benz keys?
We accept enquiries for Mercedes-Benz vehicles before 2014, subject to the key system. Mercedes-Benz vehicles from 2014 onwards are excluded.
Will the spare be a manufacturer-branded key?
Ask which key is being quoted for your vehicle. We will explain the supplied key and its functions so you can make an informed choice before the work starts.
