Tell us which functions you need
Describe how you unlock and start the car, along with any boot or rear-gate button you use. This helps us quote for the right spare rather than a key with fewer functions than expected.
If just one button has become unreliable, tell us that. A remote problem, a damaged case and a request for an additional key do not always need the same solution.
Plan ahead while you still have a working key
Call before your departure date or before taking the car out of use. We will discuss key availability, the full price and the time needed, including whether the Subaru must be present.

How much does a spare key cost?
Car key duplication starts at $140 including GST for eligible keys. Proximity keys start at $350 including GST. We’ll quote your car before you go ahead, including the key, cutting and any programming needed.

Can I get another Subaru proximity key?
We offer proximity-key duplication for eligible vehicles. Tell us how your Subaru starts and which keyless functions it has when requesting a quote.
The remote works intermittently. Should I order a spare?
Explain the symptoms first. A battery, case or another fault may need attention, and a spare key is a separate decision from fixing the existing one.
Can I leave the Subaru elsewhere and bring only the key?
Ask before visiting. Some key work needs access to the vehicle, so we will let you know what to bring for your particular job.
Where should I keep the spare?
Keep it somewhere secure and separate from your everyday key. If another driver uses it, make sure each person knows which key they have.
